Polyethylene: The World's Most Widely Used Standard Plastic
Polyethylene is the most commonly used plastic worldwide for films and packaging. Due to its widespread use and long history, a variety of raw materials with different properties have been developed within the polyethylene family.
The most well-known types are:
LDPE (Low-Density Polyethylene)
MDPE (Medium-Density Polyethylene)
HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene)
These materials differ mainly in their density. Other variants include LLDPE (Linear Low-Density Polyethylene) and mLLDPE (Metallocene Linear Low-Density Polyethylene).
By adding copolymers and other components, polyethylene-based materials can achieve a wide range of properties. In the broadest sense, materials such as EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate), EAA (Ethylene Acrylic Acid), and ionomers also belong to the polyethylene family.
We process all these raw materials into high-quality films.
Food Packaging:
Hygienic and safe films for cereals, frozen foods, and other food products
Construction and Cover Films:
Used as a vapor barrier or protective cover film against dirt and contamination.
Technical Applications:
Abrasion-resistant wear layer for flooring or furniture
Formulation bags for the tire industry
Key Characteristics
High Chemical Resistance – Ensures durability in various applications
